Most people know about the popular cities in Germany: Munich, Berlin, Aachen, Hamburg. Historical fiction, films and TV tend to show Germany during a world war or other major political events.
It’s time for a new perspective.
Even some Germans don’t know that Bielefeld exists (and if they do, they like to pretend it doesn’t), let alone foreigners looking for a place to visit. Bielefeld offers an authentic “German” experience, different than what we see in film and TV. It’s vibrant, historical, modern, and multicultural.
